Cypress New Home Prices Up 6%

AppreciationBuying a new home in the Cypress area has become quite a bit more expensive compared to a year ago.

I accumulated sales statistics for new homes Bridgeland, Cypress Creek Lakes, Fairfield, and Towne Lake from November 1, 2012 – February 10, 2013 (today) and for the same dates one year ago (11/1/2011 – 2/10/2012) and compared them.

Over average, the average sales price has gone up from $297k to $315k (6.06%) and the average $/sqft has gone up from $89.56 to $96.36 (7.59%).
