David and Pattie's business philosophy is based on a strong belief in the personal service aspect of real estate, and he maintains an active role in every facet of the company. Additionally, David and Pattie Tyer were both raised in Crockett. You are not dealing with someone that does not have any knowledge of this area. I was born and raised in the Houston area. After a lengthy home search in various communities around Houston, myself, my husband and two kids landed in the Magnolia area in 2008. Our goal in our home search was to find a forever home for our family to grow with, and create wonderful lifetime memories. Magnolia was the perfect landing place for us, and we have thoroughly enjoy living in the Magnolia area.

My former position as a client service director for one of the nation’s top veterinary specialty practices gave me years of experience in assisting people in emotionally stressful situations. And although buying or selling a home is hopefully a happier venture than a critically ill pet, it still can come with stress.

To ensure a successful experience, I utilize my talent for guiding people through unfamiliar and emotional processes, as well as my skill and experience in negotiating, understanding and explaining contracts, and remaining calm under pressure. My motivation for a career change to the field of real estate evolved from my passion for the housing market and helping people achieve their personal goals. It was time for a switch from helping clients through unexpected and unwanted life changing problems, to helping make dreams come true.

Barb Milstead has been a licensed Realtor® since 2016. Prior to being in real estate she traveled the US training and showing horses and later owned and operated an oil and gas construction company that operated in North Dakota. She is also currently a licensed Realtor® in Montana and has many contacts all along the Rocky Mountain front. Barb specializes in Deep East Texas ranches for sale, horse properties, country homes with small and large acreage and homes in our rural communities . She is familiar with areas around Lufkin including Nacogdoches, Crockett, Huntsville, Corrigan, Centerville, Fairfield, Huntington, Palestine, Grapeland, Madisonville, Lake Livingston, and many other small towns. Outside of real estate, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. They are members at Weches Baptist Church in Weches, TX. She and her husband Jason enjoy raising, training and showing horses. The boys also keep her busy with 4-H, FFA and many sporting events all over Texas.
