I attended Mississippi State University where I majored in Political Science. I graduated in August of 2014, and for two years worked in the energy field as a professional land man. I love to read and write, as well as watch sports, play golf and scuba dive in my spare time.

I have been a Texas REALTOR® since 1998. This career has been built on being in the relationship business rather than the selling business. Working in a rural area such as ours has given me the opportunity to gain years of experience in residential, commercial, farm & ranch, and unimproved properties. After years in the healthcare industry, and the burnout that ensued, I found myself wanting to make a change. I accepted a temporary (I thought) part time job as an admin in a real estate office while I figured out my next steps. However, this industry began to grow on me. I'm not a 'sales-y' person, so I wasn't sure this would be a good fit. What I learned was, while agents do help clients buy and sell real property, this business is so much more about our relationships with people and making sure they get the absolute best without being screwed over.
